At American Friction we specialize in the manufacture and worldwide distribution of brake blocks (woven and molded hard/wiper blocks), disc pads, brake bands, brake rims (drums/flanges), clutches, clutch drive plates, clutch lining and disc brake pads. Our major focus is the braking aspect of the drawworks. We can design and build any molded disc or clutch lining your particular application may need. We can realign any brake band you supply us with or we can build a special band design to meet your particular needs. We can bond, rivet, or bolt our lining to your own bands and also assure a rapid turn-around time if that’s what your needs require.
